    Dear Maaike,
Lovely to have you here and yes, isn’t the painting glorious.
The painting is titled ‘The Arab Tent’ 1866 and is by Sir Edwin Henry Landseer RA (7 March 1802 – 1 October 1873) He was an English painter very well known for his paintings of animals—horses, dogs and stags. His work is marvellous.
You can indeed buy prints of The Arab Tent’ in fact here’s a link to Wallace Prints. If Wallace don’t suit I’m sure a bit of searching will bring up others who could help you now that you have the artist and the name of the painting.

      Hello Meierotto Arabians,
After breeding Arabians for some forty years there’s no doubt horses/Arabians appear to feel emotions somewhat similar to human emotions. I’ve had some incredibly touching moments with my horses, with some even offering me comfort. No wonder we all love horse so very much.
Thank you for your comment so nice to have had you visit.
