It gives me great pleasure to announce DANIKA AND YATIMAH IN A RACE FOR RAIN is officially published.

Whether it’s real life or fiction the question when rely on mother nature often is, when will it rain? I have to say it’s really dry here at Pearsons View BUT how appropriate considering book two in the As the Crow Flies series sets the family in the middle of a drought.

I might have a dusty house, dusty horses and dust all over my car and everywhere else but the most exciting thing is that ALL of my copies of DANIKA AND YATIMAH IN A RACE FOR RAIN have arrived.

The first copies arrived right before the Total Equine Expo so several were already sold.

You know even now, five books on, to see the finished book for the first time is quite emotional. Sometimes this writing journey is quite surreal. In saying this, everything I’ve had to do leading up to actually holding my book makes me smile and exhale with relief. This funny life constantly decides to throw all sorts of obstacles at me just when I think I’m organised!

BUT, yes there’s always a ‘but’ – the website is being updated at the moment so people can place their orders. You are welcome to contact me by email or message me on Facebook if you would like to order a copy before the website is updated.

BUT, guess what, one thing you don’t have to wait for any longer is the front cover.

Thank you Willa Frayser for your beautiful artwork. Yatimah is wonderful, definitely a cross between our beauties in the Pearsons View barn,  Stavs Sorsha and the horse that Yatimah’s personality is based on, Simeon Sarah.
