Wonderful people and beautiful horses!

We all love to write about things we’re excited about so with that in mind I must let you know about a few of  the wonderful people and business’ who have played a big part in my self publishing journey.

Firstly there is the amazing online Equine Book store: www.equitainment.com.au  this online bookstore has everything the horse lover/reader could ever want. Jody informed me today that ‘Tails Carried High’is still well up in the Top 5 sales for the store in 2010. I am over the moon to hear this. Anyone out there looking for a horse/book/novel/DVD, equitainment is the place to go.

More than just an artisit Willa Frayser (Equine artist in the USA) brought my idea of Yatimah to life in my soon to be released children’s book, ‘Danika and Yatimah from Egypt to the Outback’. I am so excited by this story… If you are thinking about any artwork for Christmas think about Willa’s wonderful limited edition prints and her dog portraits are simply adorable. www.willafrayserstudio.com

Last but by no means least is my designer Robyne Matthews, a photograph restorer and artist. Robyne has a natural artistic ability and is working with me to establish a certain look to my books that will say this is a Pearsons View Publishing publication.  Anyone out there who is thinking about self publishing and needs a designer you should think about contacting Robyne at her Nine Lives Studio. ninelivesstudio@aapt.net.au

I hope when the kids read Danika and Yatimah it brings to life the magical association between a girl and her horse as well as the outback world Danika lives in.  The book trailer is now up on YouTube.

Tails Carried High, Voices in the Wind and of course Danika and Yatimah from Egypt to the Outback are must-have reading for fans to treasure. Perfect for Christmas…I had to say that didn’t I:-)

Photograph is Carmel Rowley with the mare who is Carmel’s Yatimah. Now 31 years old Simeon Sarah was the original Egyptian foundation broodmare and one of the most loved horses at Pearsons View Arabians.
