Sunday at the Top of the Range Arabian Event

“You can gain more friends by being yourself

than you can by putting up a front.
You can gain more friends by building people up

than you can by tearing them down.
And you can gain more friends by taking a few minutes

from each day to do something kind for someone,
whether it be a friend or a complete stranger.
What a difference one person can make!”

Today I attended the ‘2011 Top of the Range Arabian Event’ to watch the Sunday ridden classes and I’m so very happy that I did.

The highlight of my day was watching ten year old Reilly Turl from Allora, riding Bacchante Selena.

With the kind permission of his mother, I would love to share several photographs that I feel represent what Arabian horses stand for. Selena is every kids ‘dream horse’ and as I watched Reilly going around in his class it was obvious this mare was actually looking after her young rider.

When I congratulated Reilly on his placing he showed such generosity and kindness towards Selena, stating ‘she is the one who should be congratulated.’ Reilly also attends Pony Club and even Barrel Races on the adorable Selena.
Congratulations to all the hard working committee on another successful and enjoyable show.
