Willa’s husband Bill went hunting in the woods today – a small deer walked up to him, unafraid, and said, “Tell Carmel and Willa that the treasure will be delivered by Christmas”. Bill was so surprised, that he dropped his gun and called Willa right away – she emailed Carmel to let her know this news immediately!
Carmel emailed straight back to tell Willa about a curious thing that happened this morning… A crow flew onto the deck, in a Santa hat, holding a copy of ‘Danika and Yatimah from Egypt to the Outback’!
Looking Carmel straight in the eye the crow said, “word has travelled all the way from the USA – as the crow flies – and the treasure has been found! Is this the treasure?’ It lifted the book and Carmel nodded, ‘Good, that means the treasure will be delivered safely to Willa on the 17th of December….’
Then the crow flew away taking the book with it!!!! ‘I wanted to read this,’ it squarked and with a final flap of its wings was gone…

When Willa received word that the Crow had visited Carmel, she smiled with wonder! The Deer had known what the Crow would tell Carmel – that the books were on their way to Willa – as the Crow flies! Now the treasure would be safe and everyone would celebrate!!
