Barnes and Noble, the largest bookstore chains in America —
they account for 25% of all books sold! — are on the verge
of bankruptcy. That’s appalling! How can the richest, most
educated and freest people on earth not read more books? My
sense is that information and data (and hurried stress!)
come from the internet, but knowledge and wisdom (and freedom,
power and joy!) come from books. If you haven’t finished your
holiday shopping, please consider giving real, hold-in-your-
hand-and-enjoy-forever books! There’s no greater gift than a
good book!”
