It has been a very exciting though anxious week waiting for my children’s book Danika and Yatimah from Egypt to the Outback to be delivered to Willa Frayser in Virginia.Willa is the artist who painted the adorable cover of Danika and Yatimah plus the text illustrations.
The exciting part is having the Danika and Yatimah books printed in the USA and now the books are delivered safe and sound (though leaving 3 boxes of books in the snow under a tree in the driveway isn’t exactly safe) the exercise doesn’t feel quite as daunting as it did a few weeks ago! This is one truly International little book.
The release is a little close to Christmas but there is a saying about the best laid plans!

And an adventure it has been Carmel! Doing the illustrations and the cover were so exciting for me, but not as exciting as waiting for our little book to be delivered! I don’t think I will ever forget our adventure – thank you for writing such a wonderful story and sharing it with me and the world! Everyone will love it here in the states! 🙂
