The smallest bookstore still contains more ideas of worth than have been presented in the entire history of television. ~Andrew Ross
On Tuesday I visited our Dymocks book store in Toowoomba , it is indeed a store for booklovers.
But there is something about bookstores! If I’m near by – long invisible arms seem to reach out and drag me in. I am incapable of resisting so I simply allow the arms to lead me around the store until I find that book, ‘I have always wanted to read!’
Our Toowoomba Dymocks bookstore (07) 46327655 specialises in rural titles and has a fantastic mail order service to country readers. There is something very exciting about ordering a book and having it arrive in the mail. Anyone who has purchased something online knows the thrill and anticipation of the imminent arrival of a parcel.
I appreciate how Ted readily agreed to stock Tails Carried High, he is wonderfully supportive of independent/self publishers. Both Tails Carried High and Voices in the Wind are on the Dymocks Toowoomba shelves and I am happy to say they continue to sell steadily.
From tomorrow – Danika and Yatimah from Egypt to the Outback will also be available at Dymocks Toowoomba .
To read a book for the first time is to make an acquaintance with a new friend; to read it for a second time is to meet an old one. ~Chinese Saying
