E-Book readers.

The eBook reader market appears to be going ahead in leaps and bounds with manufacturers making constant improvements to  basic ebook readers. My Christmas present this year was an eBook reader. My husbands search resulted in purchasing an eBook reader with a 7″ screen display, that supports several eBook formats, video, photographs and music formats. Weight is 340g – lighter than most of the paperback books I write and read! 

I know it will never replace buying and owning my favourite paperback novel but it does offer a fantastic option. Plus as a writer I felt I should own and use an eBook reader.

I have to admit, for us, it was confusing to make a decision but the thin-ness of the reader, the 7″  back-lit screen was clear to read, battery life and being easy to carry sealed the deal. I didn’t need lots of functions I wouldn’t use.  Price wise it was average to many others $149.00. All in all a good place to start.  One other thing – I like the idea of being a little environmentally friendly …
