“I use my life experiences, people, nature – landscapes, my horses and emotions for inspiration. These days it feels as if everything around me has a story to tell…” A wonderful interview with world -acclaimed author and Arabian Horse Breeder Carmel Rowley

I must say I was full of girlish excitement to be featured on Gina’s blog. As I went through the questions I was taken on a little trip back in time reminiscing about “old times”, the horses we owned, the people we’ve met and all the gloriously happy times as well as the sad that cultivated our lives. I relived the stresses of being a first time independent publisher and all the mistakes I made. Even now I still wonder how a middle aged woman managed to write a whole series of books that people love. In saying this, I have never been good at conforming to the accepted mould. I believe if you love what you do, you possess a natural passion for what you love and what comes after is easy.
Plus, I feel one of the things people should always remember is, that it doesn’t matter what age you are, you can always fulfil your dreams.

Thanks so much Patrice. Thinking about who is the perfect actor for Marc was difficult all of these actors change their look with the different photographs. Maybe I should put it out there next week and get everyone’s opinion, it could be fun.

I too really enjoyed reading this and love all your talents and passion for life and yes, definitely your honesty! Love the idea of asking your readers for ideas of who fits their impression of Marc, as you say it should be fun!

Lovely to have you back here Jenny. I always enjoy your input and thank you for your kind words. I will have a think and get something up on the blog asap regarding the one and only Marc Carey! Maybe we need an artists impression, a quick sketch. There’s a challenge for all the amazing artists out there! 🙂
