How good is this…

Another week closer to the official launch of my children’s book ‘Danika and Yatimah from Egypt to the Outback’. Today I am excited to feature Hannah Waldron and friend Natalie O’Brien. Hannah is sitting on the ever patient and serene Cearadale Shakira ( her own special Yatimah!) and Natalie just loves horses. This was Natalie’s first visit to Cearadale Arabian Stud – she was in heaven being around the horses.

So you all know, Cearadale Arabian Stud is situated in a town called Roma, six hours drive west of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. Natalie read Danika and Yatimah a week ago and by all accounts loved it. She kindly sent me a little testimonial … “It’s one of the few books that paints a picture in your mind”. Natalie is 13 years old, and now she’s  starting to read “Tails Carried High”.

Here is a special excerpt from Danika and Yatimah from Egypt to the Outback –

“…When the sun set over Uluru they still galloped. The sky spirits set the embers glowing crimson red and bright copper orange, framing a halo over the already fiery red of the massive rock. Yatimah’s ears were forward, and with all of her gallant spirit she carried Danika closer to their rescuers. Danika felt renewed energy and stood in the stirrups, moving in time with Yatimah’s easy stride.”

Thanks for a great book Carmel. I have now finished Tails Carried High and I absolutely loved it. I am looking forward to reading your other books. I absolutely love Arabian horses! They are so graceful and each come with their own little quirks and perks.
